How to send a PM?

Mat,

Another query from the technological inept!

I just created a PM and when I clicked on the Submit button it went to Outbox, fine so far. But now it hasn't moved from there. What happens next? Does it pick it up and send it a little later or what? Also, there's an old PM I did about 2&1/2 months ago still sitting in the Outbox. Can this be edited and sent?

Sorry for the questions, but us old guys need help on these things.

Again thanks, the messages I created yesterday have all gone. The "OLD" message I created back on 10th August is still siting in the Outbox. Can this be deleted? I've now sent another one in its place.
