1940 110 fuel Pump

Postby John on Wed Jul 09, 2008 10:51 pm

Where can I get parts (I assume diaphragm) for Packard fuel pumps?

New kid on the block. Just got the old girl home.

John,

Rebuilt pumps are available from Kanters, link - http://kanter.com/

And kits from Max Merritt, link - http://www.maxmerrittauto.com/

New & Rebuilt pumps also come up on eBay from time to time but who knows what the diaphragm is like sitting on a shelf for ? years.

Sorry, don't know about local suppliers but you may have better luck on Sunday.

Saw John and Annette today at the American Independen't Day Car Display at Linwood House, Guildford. John tells me he's ordered a pump kit from MaxMerritt's so the '40 will be back in action soon.

G'day all, The horse may have already bolted, but I would suggest that you get alcohol kit as it appears to be a way of the future, costs about $US60 for the complete double acting Packard kit. best regards Peter Toet
